A webinar, first of a series of IS-ENES3 webinar and organised by CERFACS, about code coupling in climate modelling in general, and the new version of the OASIS coupler (OASIS3-MCT_5.0 in particular), is planned on Thursday May 5th from 10:00 to 11:00 am CEST.
This webinar is organised to answer all questions you may have about code coupling and never dared to ask !
The webinar will:
- Present how different possible implementations of a coupled application impact its global performance
- Describe the different technical solutions and software available for code coupling in climate modelling
- Give a general overview of the OASIS3-MCT coupler, describing its latest improvements achieved in the framework of the IS-ENES3 project
The webinar will last about 45 minutes wit 15 additional minutes for questions.
